Catholic Americans have a proud heritage of service to God and this great nation.  Military service is rightly termed a vocation, which permits us to contribute our own sweat and blood in ensuring a continuation of all the freedoms we are afforded as God-given rights.  The Mission Capodanno website recognizes the commitment and sacrifices that all military members and their families endure to maintain these freedoms, and provides a forum in which to meet.

See No Evil

If a man denies there is sickness, then how shall he make efforts to restore himself to health? If a man thinks he knows it all, whence shall come his energies to learn? If there be no evil, how shall we repent? How can we defeat evil unless we know it? The condition of national peace is the scrapping both of false education and false politics, the former of which denies evil and the latter of which limits evil to dictatorships, environment, poor milk, or bad glands.
